1950 Singer Featherweight Model 221 Sewing Machine + Extras - Fully Serviced

Description

Vintage Singer Featherweight Model 221 with serial number AJ366374, dated January 23, 1950. This sewing machine appears to have been gently and lightly used. It has been thoroughly inspected, and serviced. It has been cleaned, adjusted, oiled, lubed and polished. Motor brushes measure ½”, replace at ¼”, which will be years and years, depending on use. Light bulb was replaced with an LED bulb for a bright, clear light. Motor runs strong, smooth and quiet, in forward and reverse. The finish is in beautiful condition with some light scratches from normal usage. The gold decals are near perfect, with only a very minor exceptions. The original case is in very good condition, the locks and latches all work. This 221 appears to have been stored in a
nice dry location ~ there are no odors in the case. The original manual is missing. However, you can download a copy for free from various websites.
